Why Comments?

Two Styles

-- This is a single-line comment
SELECT * FROM students;  -- also works at line end

/* This is a
   multi-line comment */
SELECT name FROM students;

Summary

• -- starts a single-line comment.
• /* ... */ wraps a multi-line comment.
